Ezvento User Guide
How to run your shop with Ezvento — billing, stock, udhaar, GST, staff, and more, in plain language.
Ezvento is billing, stock, khata (udhaar), and GST for your shop — on a phone or a computer, and it keeps working when the internet drops. This guide shows you how to do the everyday things, step by step. No computer knowledge needed.
New to Ezvento? Start with Getting started — you can set up your shop and print your first bill in about 10 minutes.

A few things that help everywhere
- The menu is grouped into four parts — Daily (billing, dues), Goods (products, stock, purchases), People (customers, staff), and Business (reports, settings). If a menu item is hidden for your shop type, you can still reach it by searching (press the search box at the top) or by its web address.
- Some menu names are shorter than the page — e.g. "Dues" is your udhaar/receivables, "EMI" opens the Khata installment ledger, "Stock" is your inventory and "Products" is your catalogue. This guide always tells you the exact name to tap.
- Your shop type shapes the app. When you picked Grocery, Pharmacy, Jewellery, Electronics, Clothing (and so on), Ezvento turned on the fields you need (batch & expiry for pharmacy, weight for grocery, purity for jewellery, serial numbers for electronics) and hid the rest.
- 9 languages. English, हिंदी, தமிழ், తెలుగు, ಕನ್ನಡ, മലയാളം, मराठी, ગુજરાતી, বাংলা. Change it in Settings → Account, or from the language picker at the top.
An honest word on GST filing
Ezvento does a lot of the GST work for you — it calculates tax automatically, keeps your bills GST-tagged, and generates the GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B files you upload to the government portal.
But it is not an auto-filing service, and it does not claim to be. You (or your accountant/CA) should look at the numbers and file them yourself. Every GST export screen says the same thing: "check the figures before you file." See GST & tax for exactly how it works and where to be careful.
This guide covers what the app actually does today. A few features are still being built or need extra setup — where that's the case, the guide says so plainly instead of pretending.
